Paul Miller- Recreational and Team Director

Paul got involved with gymnastics at an early age after an athletic career in various other sports and has been coaching since (20+ years). Paul had a career in the military where he served in Germany, Iraq, and Kosovo before he started coaching full time. He most recently comes to us from WOGA Gymnastics of Frisco and Capital Gymnastics of Austin. While at WOGA, he not only claimed the only perfect 10 of the Level 5 State Meet in 2015, but his athletes contributed significantly to the WOGA’s State team sweep of all compulsory levels in 2016. His proudest coach moment is when he gets to watch his athletes claim State, Regional, and National titles. Currently the Director of Team and the Recreational Program, Paul is excited about the grassroots development of our program. “I hate to brag about my past success, because truly it does not matter for what I am trying to accomplish here. The past has no power over the present or future, and our future looks so bright. I am looking forward to even greater achievements here at GBG.”-Coach Paul He is passionate about taking care of his family, both traditional and gym, and staying fit. Paul attended the University of Memphis and Colorado.

Mandy Miller- Assistant Recreational and Team Director

Mandy started gymnastics at the age of 4 and went on to compete for 15 years finishing her career as a level 10/collegiate athlete at Penn State University. With coaching for over 19 years (4 years opening and establishing Gulf Breeze Gymnastics at our start), Mandy has been trained and educated with some of the best in the world. In 2008, Mandy left Gulf Breeze upon receiving the opportunity to help with opening and building a team program at WOGA Gymnastics’ newest facility in Frisco. She then spent the past 5 years at Kurt Thomas Gymnastics coaching levels 4-8. In that time, the gym was awarded Junior Olympic Compulsory Program of the year for two consecutive years. How many gymnasts dream to get that perfect 10? Well, Mandy has had an athlete receive the only 10 awarded on any event, any session, at that level’s State competition for 3 years! Mandy recently moved back to Gulf Breeze and is expecting her first child, a son. Currently, she is assistant coaches the optional team, along with assisting her husband, Coach Paul, in directing the team and recreational programs. Mandy is excited to be back at Gulf Breeze and bring with her all the amazing experience and expertise she gained in her 10 years in Texas. “We are here to DOMINATE the STATE, then region, then nation!”- Coach Mandy. She is passionate about pushing each child to be better than they even believe they are capable. Making the impossible possible!

She competed on the University of New Hampshire’s NCAA Division 1 competitive cheer team where she received the All American Athlete Award. She was a competitive gymnast for 10 years, competing up to Level 8, and has over 5 years of coaching experience. While obtaining her AA in Sports Management in Recreation, Chelsea started her coaching career as the Preschool Coordinator and Team Coach at Pensacola Gymnastics. She then moved to Gymstrada in Virginia Beach and continued coaching for their Competitive Team. Her love of gymnastics is what energizes her.
